Never Ending Nail Art: Chinese New Year Nails

Today is the start of the Chinese New Year!

We are now in the year of the Dragon!!! I happen to be born in the Year of the dragon which is AWESOME.

According to the web people born in the year of the dragon are innovative, enterprising, self-assured, brave, passionate, conceited, and quick tempered. Dragons are free spirits and restriction blows out their creative sparks that are ready to flame into life. Therefore dragons must be free and uninhibited. The dragon is a beautiful creature that is colorful and flamboyant. Extroverted gifted, and irrepressible, everything dragons do is on a grand scale--big ideas and extreme ambitions, however this behavior comes natural to the dragon and is not meant to show off. Because dragons are confident and fearless in the face of challenge, they are almost inevitably successful. (source)

A lot of this rings true for me, although I was born in the year of the dragon I am also introverted because my sign is Cancer and they are generally shy. I am a free spirit and restrictions do blow out my creative spark. I am very colorful but I wouldn't say that I am flamboyant (a little reserved). But I do like to express myself and I do have big ideas and ambitions. This thing says that I will be successful in life :-O I sure hope its right!

So Anyway, on to the Nails!

I thought that this design was going to be so complicated but it actually turned out to be rather simple

I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear brand in White on and Invisible (top coat). I also layered LA Colors Nail Lacquer brand in French Creme to get that lovely beige color; I kinda wanted it to look like ancient Chinese paper. Lasty I used Sinful Colors Professional brand in Real Red for the dragon design

I really liked how when I put my fingers together it complete design of the dragon ^_^
