I know I've been gone for quite some time now, but I'm back with a brief yet very important announcement:<br />
<br />
Which is that I have to postpone blogging for a while.<br />
<br />
<b>Yes, yes, I know, I know,</b> I've been gone for so long only to tell you that I'll be gone even longer-- which sucks, but it's been SO crazy here on my end that you wouldn't even believe!<br />
<br />
I'm talking ridiculous!<br />
<br />
I suppose that if I really had to, I could begin blogging again right away...but I have to admit that I'm a bit of a perfectionist; I like to put my all into everything I do, including this blog, and unfortunately for now I am just unable to do so.<br />
<br />
Why? Well I can't really get into the details of that right now, partly because I don't want to bore you with the details which would probably take an absurd amount of time to explain anyway & and partly because of the circumstances of my "situation" which have not been made final yet, so just know that I am doing well & that will be back to nail blogging soon!<br />
<br />
<br />
That's all for now!<br />
<br />

<b><u>design #22</u></b><br />
<br />
<br />
Hello!<br />
<br />
Hope your year is going well. Although 2012 didn't go out with a "bang" for me (so to speak), I'm still surprisingly optimistic about the future! There's just something about the new year that gives you a new motivational spirit that you hadn't have before!!!<br />
<br />
But on to the design!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NmmkEYrNpwM/UOpXSclv0PI/AAAAAAAAD9E/JRx1hP-qlG8/s1600/P1030739.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NmmkEYrNpwM/UOpXSclv0PI/AAAAAAAAD9E/JRx1hP-qlG8/s640/P1030739.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">I used <b>NYX Advanced Salon Formula</b> in <u><i>Pastel Lavender</i></u> and <b>Sally Hansen Extreme Wear </b>in <u style="font-style: italic;">Black On Black</u>. <br />
I used <b>Pro Fx Quick Dry Top Coat </b>and had some bubbling, a sad but common thing when using quick dry polishes. I also used some nail striping tape for the stripes.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
I did this mani a while back but I'm sharing it now that I've got my blog back up and running:<br />
<br />
I'll have to keep my posts as short as possible over the next few weeks, my computer is down and until I get mine back up and running I'll have to share a laptop with Charlie, who needs his laptop for work.<br />
<br />
Hope you enjoyed today's post and tune in for more!<br />
<br />
Sincerely, <br />

<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
I feel I have to tell you all about the the good news,<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Over the past few months my nails have been growing really long and strong OMG! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
And before I cut them down a bit I decided to have a little fun with them and make them pointed:</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-EEGtcERAQvk/UOpOPfKztKI/AAAAAAAAD8U/H3LmOsbHgbg/s1600/P1030693.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="358" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-EEGtcERAQvk/UOpOPfKztKI/AAAAAAAAD8U/H3LmOsbHgbg/s640/P1030693.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WkE6SXmmTKg/UOpOPVPeFjI/AAAAAAAAD8Y/xvry2pBCPiw/s1600/P1030696.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="358" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WkE6SXmmTKg/UOpOPVPeFjI/AAAAAAAAD8Y/xvry2pBCPiw/s640/P1030696.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Tons of nail growth!!!<br />
<br /></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div>
But not only that, they've gotten a lot stronger too! I haven't even had a nail break in a really long time. I have, however, bumped my nails into things several times, which made my nails bend backwards though!!! Which needless to say is extremely painful! But even though my nails should have broken by the force of impact alone, to my surprise, time and time again, they have not broken!!!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
IT'S LIKE MY NAILS ARE ON STEROIDS!!!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
"He-he-he." But not really! I'm pretty positive that the reason why my nails have been growing so long and strong is due to this:</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<a href="http://neverendingnailart.blogspot.com/2012/04/sally-hansen-nail-growth-miracle-serum.html" target="_blank">Remember when I did a post on this product back in April of 2012?!</a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-aAD0-VF2hOE/UDBDPOXOwZI/AAAAAAAAC18/bIcaLDA2Qpc/s1600/P1020940.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-aAD0-VF2hOE/UDBDPOXOwZI/AAAAAAAAC18/bIcaLDA2Qpc/s640/P1020940.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Folks, I swear by this product. Why? Because: While I have not used this product AT ALL since I posted on it in back in April of last year, IT IS STILL WORKING TO GROW MY NAILS. That's right! As bizarre as it sounds, ever since I've used Sally Hansen Nail Growth Miracle Serum on my nails (and toenails) back in April I have noticed <b><u>without a doubt</u></b> that my nails have been growing faster and longer than usual. My nails are getting so long that I even have trouble typing out this post!!!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
And the best part about it is that I only used this product <b><u>once</u></b> "off-and-on" over a period of 2 weeks!!!!! After the first 2 weeks I did notice that my nails were indeed much longer, which was great! But the benefits were not realized until much later. Because after using SHNGMS for the short period of time that I did, my nails continued to grow and grow and gRoW!!! It's as though something had triggered in my nails on a molecular level causing them to grow faster and stronger than they normally do!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Now I know that it might sound like I being paid to say all these incredible things about this product. But let me make this very clear <u><b>I have not been paid to say any of this stuff (I wish ;-P).</b></u> I purchased this bottle at my local Walmart for $10.00 USD after passing it by dozens of times wondering if it would ever work for me. AND IT DID!!!!! It even says on the box that it is <u>Guaranteed!</u> to work!!! Can you believe thattttt?!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
If you are having trouble with brittle nails that won't grow, please consider giving this a try. It has truly worked for me and I figured that rather than keeping this awesome beauty secret to myself, that I would I would pass this information on to others <(^_^)> </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
You'll see in the very next post how my nails are still fairly long even after I clipped the points off and filed them round to do my next manicure. <a href="http://neverendingnailart.blogspot.com/2013/01/design-22-hello-hope-your-year-is-going.html" target="_blank">(click here to see!)</a><br />
<br />
<br />
UNREAL!</div>
<div>
<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
That's all for now, hope you enjoyed this post!</div>

<b><u><br /></u></b>
<b><u><br /></u></b>
Hello dear readers!<br />
<br />
It's been months since I've last posted :'( . But rather than bore you to tears with the details like I always do,<i> </i>I am just going to jump right in to this next post! n_n<br />
<br />
This New Years, while sipping on some of the bubblies, I was racking my brain for something fun yet simple I could do on my nails in homage to the spirit of the New Year.<br />
<br />
And then it hit me!<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-AxEK6RK5ZhI/UOZAkcphw6I/AAAAAAAAD7M/5F9n20VhdYY/s1600/P1030759.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-AxEK6RK5ZhI/UOZAkcphw6I/AAAAAAAAD7M/5F9n20VhdYY/s640/P1030759.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><br /></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hrePMTl5cKA/UOZCRgj2SII/AAAAAAAAD74/At5UaGeUXJM/s1600/P1030748.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hrePMTl5cKA/UOZCRgj2SII/AAAAAAAAD74/At5UaGeUXJM/s640/P1030748.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">crumpled gold foil adhered with nail glue. no top coat.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
A foil mani with all of the left over foil that came off of the top of the champagne bottle that Charlie and I popped open in celebration of the new year!<br />
<br />
<br />
Though came out awesome, sadly it didn't last for long. Maybe I might seal it next time with a clear top coat.<br />
<br />
<br />
Well, that's all for now!<br />
<br />
<br />
Wishing you and yours a wonderful new year! <br />
<br />

<b><u>design #20</u></b><br />
<br /></div>
<div>
This design was done as an entry to <a href="http://www.chalkboardnails.com/" target="_blank">Chalkboard Nails</a> Cool Colors or Warm Colors Nail Art Contest!</div>
<div>
<br />
In regards to the contest, It was very hard for me to stick with just cool or just warm tones which led to me not deciding on an idea till last minute. u_u<br />
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
But in the end I decided to do a dragon design using only cool colors. Kinda didn't come out how I had planned it, but I figured what the heck I'll submit it anyways :-P</div>
</div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Here is a sketch of the design:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">The design as it was intended (on paper)</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
I decided to take down the photo of how it came out on my nails because I've been so unhappy with how it turned out. But rest assured I will redo this mani soon!!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Here's a super quick mani that I did for the Fall Into Autumn Challenge:<br />
<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><br /></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div>
I was very anxious to put my idea onto my nails, as you can see from my messy cuticles, and I must say I love it. I just couldn't resist the urge to lick my nails!!!</div>

<br />
Hello!<br />
<br />
<br />
Today I'm doing finger swatches of the 6 new Color Show polishes for Fall 2012.<br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Color Show is a brand of nail polish that was released earlier this year by Maybelline New York. Although they premiered with 40 shades, they're already introducing 6 new shades. I'm glad to see that they're already coming out with some on trend colors for fall, because I absolutely love new colors! Who doesn't!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
1 coat. It applied so well in one coat that I didn't even opt for a second. It's a metallic bronze with gold and grey shimmer. While the muted brown beneath makes for a very subtle shade, it also has sparkly elements of flair up top. It's milky, its bronzy, it's lovely.</div>

<b>Auburn Ablaze</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
2 coats. I really like this brown. Its a very rich auburn, dare I say wine colored brown. It's a color that is very appropriate for the fall. It applied evenly in two coats.</div>
<div>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-align: start;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">a very sheer dark gray with light pink/golden shimmer subtle shift to green<br /><br /></span></span>
</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
<b>Cosmo Pink</b><br />
<br />
3coats. I adore this color, it's subtle, soft and sweet; it speaks to the softer side of my personality. Unfortunately this photo does not do this color justice! While the camera captures all the golden shimmer it fails to portray any of the pink shimmer nor any its grey-green base. The color can apply a bit streaky like most shimmery sheers tend to do but the formula is great. I might use this as a topcoat and see how it does.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-align: start;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">A red-brown base with obvious green shimmer.</span></span></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
<b>Downtown Brown</b><br />
<br />
2 coats. The green shimmer in this polish is very noticable. Sometimes I'm looking at a green and sometimes I'm looking at a brown. At first I didn't care much for the color, but now I must say that it's grown on me!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Metallic Green with Gold Shimmer</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<b>Avant Green</b><br />
<br />
3 coats. Started off sheer on the first coat, and got streaky on the second, so for me a third coat was needed. Thought that it would have been a bit darker on the nail than it was but it's still very nice. I like how refined the metallic shimmer is on this one, it was also very well mixed and didn't run thick. Very high quality.<br />
<br />
<br />
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">a metallic bronze/gold/green gold shimmer polish<br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<b>Boho Gold </b><br />
<br />
2 coats. Make no mistake, this is a gold polish! The green-blue duo chrome effect is too subtle to admire in this polish, which was disappointing because it looks so dramatic in the bottle. But I still enjoy how fiery it is in the center; a kind of copper shade, which then fades out into a gold, which then fades out into a dark gold.<br />
<br />
Hope You Enjoyed!<br />

<b><u><br /></u></b>
<b><u>design #18</u></b><br />
<br />
Hello! How Are You All Doing?<br />
<br />
<br />
(Warning this post is somehow heavy in exclamation points!)<br />
<br />
<br />
I hope you are doing great and all is going according to plan. I have good news to share--I have taken on the Fall Into Autumn Challenge!!! Special thanks to those allowing me to participate!!! I feel giddy like a school-girl!<br />
<br />
<br />
Speaking of school, tomorrow is my first day back. I am currently majoring in Graphic Design, and this semester I signed up for a painting and sculpture class. I can only afford to attend part-time, which sucks, because I'd really love to get my BFA sometime before I'm old! As of now my hearts just not into it; I feel less like a student and more like a profit. I hate it. I hate how they cut federal funding to students that need it most. <br />
<br />
<br />
I could go on and on (and on) about how I feel but I won't. And while I'm very uncertain about how the future will play out, luckily there are somethings I can always count on to get me through, like polish!<br />
<br />
<br />
So On To It!<br />
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Back 2 School half-moon mani complete with chalkboard (thumb) crayon, loose-leaf, paper , pencil, and eraser :)</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
This was my first attempt at a half-moon mani using reinforcements. The half moons look more dramatic in real life than they do in the photo (why u lie camera?!). When I first started doing this mani for the FIA challenge I thought it would be a lot easier to come up with an idea for B2S but it's much harder than it looks! So I decided to keep it simple and "fall back" on some must have essentials. (no pun intended :p)<br />
<br />

</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
I hope you enjoyed this back to school mani!<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KVrJggbnoWw/UDrbu79cfTI/AAAAAAAAC90/-2CV8Hcdhf4/s1600/P1030343.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KVrJggbnoWw/UDrbu79cfTI/AAAAAAAAC90/-2CV8Hcdhf4/s640/P1030343.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I found this beauty sitting by itself in a nail polish display rack the last time I visited Walgreens. It looked like a neon in the store so I was drawn directly to it. I double checked the label to make sure that it was a color I didn't already, it read "Bright-On." But it wasn't until I got home until I realized that something was very peculiar about this polish. I took another look at the name on the bottle and to my surprise it said Brilliant Sun. I thought that was very strange indeed, so I inspected the bottle thoroughly. I looked on the top of the cap for the name of the polish, but the sticker was missing! During my inspection I realized that one side of the bottle says Bright-On while the other it says Brilliant Sun.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-OLu3q9hOr-E/UDrbyQ-BTyI/AAAAAAAAC98/noDdv3SNeZk/s1600/P1030331.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="358" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-OLu3q9hOr-E/UDrbyQ-BTyI/AAAAAAAAC98/noDdv3SNeZk/s640/P1030331.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I also noticed that the cap is slightly different; it's a dark gray shimmer, and not the standard silver chrome we're used to seeing.<br />
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xJ45xcxtLsY/UDrcIuYxosI/AAAAAAAAC-E/RbyhbYWMgUw/s1600/P1030339.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xJ45xcxtLsY/UDrcIuYxosI/AAAAAAAAC-E/RbyhbYWMgUw/s640/P1030339.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">(Left) Newer Cap (right) Older Cap</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
Intrigued by my discovery, I had to try it on. When I did I really liked it. The color looks great even on my dark skin tone, and really pops; but is not neon to the point where it becomes an eyesore. What's also cool about this color is that it just between a green and a yellow so sometimes when you stare at it will look cream yellow and other times it will look a soft lime.<br />
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EC1_4ezpvVw/UDrce_B730I/AAAAAAAAC-M/arGX_dEby1A/s1600/P1030346.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EC1_4ezpvVw/UDrce_B730I/AAAAAAAAC-M/arGX_dEby1A/s640/P1030346.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">B-right On, 3 coats. Ran a bit thick from the start, so I added some lacquer thinner.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
But I did have the feeling that I've <u>seen</u> it before. So I took a look at my shelves where I keep most of my polishes and that's when I saw it--smacking me in the face. Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear brand has duped itself! Green With Envy could very well be the twin sister of B-right On.<br />
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rBZQK0bt6uI/UDrcnxYL1sI/AAAAAAAAC-U/Lq4K8UbDeiI/s1600/P1030349.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rBZQK0bt6uI/UDrcnxYL1sI/AAAAAAAAC-U/Lq4K8UbDeiI/s640/P1030349.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">#370 Bright On! (Left) side by side with #110 Green With My Envy (Right)</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
In fact, Green With Envy is Just a shade darker than Bright On (Brillaint Sun)!<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-lwWgq0ncnOE/UDrcvPCNtvI/AAAAAAAAC-c/Eku2LX4eJGY/s1600/P1030355.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-lwWgq0ncnOE/UDrcvPCNtvI/AAAAAAAAC-c/Eku2LX4eJGY/s640/P1030355.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Finger Swatches of B-right On! (left) and Green With Envy (right)</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
Odd Indeed!!!<br />
<br />
All in all, I really like both, but if you already have Green With Envy you may decide to pass on Bright-On , since they're not too much different.<br />
<br />
Hope you found this review helpful!<br />

Hello dear readers!<br />
<br />
I hope this post finds you doing well!<br />
<br />
As you may or may not know I am a Sinful Colors fanatic. SC is among my favorite brands of polish. I currently own 200+ bottles which is just Sinful (pun intended). I can remember when I first walked into Walgreens in search of polish deals back in spring 2010 and was surprised to find a large display of all the pretty Sinful's that were just $2.00 each. So I bought 10 (or so) took them home quickly realizing I needed moorrrreee! Every time there was a .99 cent sale I'd clean house. And Cherry Culture is currently having a super sale on most of their polishes including SC which are now $1.25. Needless to say I filled up my bag!!!<br />
<br />
And on my last visit to Walgreens, I stumbled upon some new sinful colors just in time for the fall!<br />
<br />
But Lets Start With These:<br />
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1epNcE-5OZM/UDrDFLKvGeI/AAAAAAAAC8c/PhVtELN6UTc/s1600/P1030340.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1epNcE-5OZM/UDrDFLKvGeI/AAAAAAAAC8c/PhVtELN6UTc/s640/P1030340.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">(Left to Right) 966-Cassablanca, 1055-Slate, 1062-Leap Flog, 1053-Rainstorm, 961-Fig.
</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
These were released for the summer, but they look more like fall colors so I waited a bit to put these up. I've read somewhere that the only 2 truly new colors are Rainstorm and Leap Flog (flog=frog=a very sad typo that wasn't caught before print production of the labels!) the other three are re-promoted shades that they brought back, so I'm really glad to finally own the other three shades. I like when they re-promote colors that were once limited edition rather than re-promoting colors in their core line!!! Tired of running to Walgreen's when a new display is up, only to find that all of the colors are merely re-promotes. >_<<br />
<br />
But These Weren't The Only SC's I Found:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-a-T43QvxPrQ/UDrDLSNts2I/AAAAAAAAC8k/LVIyklT63_8/s1600/P1030357.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-a-T43QvxPrQ/UDrDLSNts2I/AAAAAAAAC8k/LVIyklT63_8/s640/P1030357.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">(Left to Right) 980-Georgio, 1064-Clear Coat, 957-Cross My Heart</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
Georgio and Cross My Heart have probably been around a while but the Clear Coat must be new. Isn't it strange that SC decided to come out with a clear coat now? Dunno, but they do have other topcoats available so it's not a big deal.<br />
<br />
<br />
Last But Not Least:<br />
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-cslBqsv-esU/UDrDNCGvCJI/AAAAAAAAC8s/MIHnGSZiiPQ/s1600/P1030328.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-cslBqsv-esU/UDrDNCGvCJI/AAAAAAAAC8s/MIHnGSZiiPQ/s640/P1030328.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">(Left to Right) 1147-Heavy Metal, 1151-Zincing of You, 1148-Super Nova, 1149-Moss Have, 1150-Hot Wired, <br />
1152-Precious Metal, 1146-Gone Platinum, 1145-Hot Hot Heat.<br />
<br /></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
All 8 of these hot metallic shades happen to be new! Not much to say about them now, since I haven't tried them on yet, but what I can say is that they all look gorgeous. n_n<br />
<br />
<br />
See one you like?<br />
<br />
<br />
Hope you enjoyed this post!<br />

<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">One of the most recognizable paintings of the 20th century, painted by German expressionist artist Edvard Munch. His painting broke record's just last month when it sold for an unbelievably </span>ridiculous<span style="font-family: inherit;"> 119 million dollars (WHHHAT! GIGANTIC EYERoLL LIKE REALLY???? <span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">But anyways, I love this painting!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Munch himself recounts:</span></div>
<div>
<span style="background-color: white; line-height: 19px;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div>
<span style="background-color: white; line-height: 19px;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"></span></span>I was walking along a path with two friends-- the sun was setting--suddenly the sky turned blood red--I paused, feeling exhausted and leaned on the fence--there was blood and tongues of fire above the blue-black fjord and the city. My friends walked on, and I stood there trembling with anxiety -- and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature.<br />

<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="line-height: 18px;">I like the stylized look of the screaming man, and the intense movements of the blood-red sky and blue-black fjord...It's so shocking, so arresting...so immersive, as if you're there...as if you're witnessing that </span></span><span style="line-height: 18px;">infinite</span><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="line-height: 18px;"> scream through nature. ~_~</span></span></div>

<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="line-height: 18px;">I actually didn't know about the auction until I started painting the design. They say it's so prized because its the only one (of four) scream paintings done by Munch that has a hand painted frame as well as a poem for his inspiration. Whatever, I just really like the painting and thought that it would make for awesome nails. </span></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit; line-height: 17px;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit; line-height: 17px;">This has been one of the hardest designs for me to do so far. I found it very hard to recreate colors that no nail polish company in their right mind would ever </span><span style="font-family: inherit; line-height: 16px;">dare</span><span style="font-family: inherit; line-height: 17px;"> make! And simply impossible to mimic the powerful impressive movements of blood-red sky and blue-black fjord!</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="line-height: 17px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="line-height: 17px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="line-height: 17px;">Amazing!</span></span></div>
<div>
<span style="line-height: 16px;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="line-height: 17px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="line-height: 17px;">Hope You Enjoyed This Post and Happy Painting,</span></span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="line-height: 17px;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="line-height: 17px;">P.S. I'm auctioning off my natural fingernails with this design on them for 119 Million dollars. Any takers??? That's rihhhgt!!! For 119 million dollars you can have em; I would definitely have my nails surgically removed from my fingers for that kind of money. The way I see it, I have more technical skill than Munch since my canvas, is well <b>super tiny</b>! SO how about 238 million then?</span></span></div>

<b><u><br /></u></b>
<b><u><br /></u></b></div>
<b><u>design #15</u></b><br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This is not a fan-based manicure. This is actually the exact opposite.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Now I want to make this very clear:<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: x-large;">I HATE ANGRY BIRDS!</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: x-large;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
Why? Because I suck at that game!!! I really do! >_< </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
When It first came out I was like, no, I am never gonna play it because I thought it would be one of those kinds of games that I think will be dumb but kind of know will be addictive even if I try it once kind of games. Do you know what I mean?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Personally, I don't bother playing any game that has no end. For some strange reason if I play it, it MUST have an ending. I stopped playing The Sims when I finally realized after like 10 years that it had no end! What an awesome game, but no ending!!! I need closure!!!<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
So how might you ask, did I get myself wrapped up in the phenom which be Angry Birds ???</div>
<div>
<br />
My husband started playing it on his phone one day, and then handed the game to me on this one particular level that he was having trouble with and OMG, it took me about 3 weeks of trying off and on before i could finally beat it 5 stars. Only to find that the next level was even harder than the last...SMH!!!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
</div>
</div>
<div>
Here it is.</div>

<br />
It took very long for me to do this mani. I'm a bit of a perfectionist which was frustrating because I messed up ALOT and got very very high off the fumes. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I seriously should have done this mani outside!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I have to add the pedi later because I got a really bad case of in-grown toenail u_u which is rare for me but it does happen every now and again. What ever caused it, I made it worse by trying to play doctor on it >.< I'm not a doctor! lol. Oh well, I left it alone in the hopes that it would heal on its own.</div>
<div>
<br />
You guys I have not done a design in a lonnng time! I have been very very bad! I guess I have had low motivation lately but I really ought to continue to do what I love, and that is gettin' high off nail polish!<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">$2 each. Great quality grit nail files.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<b><u>Nail Files</u></b><br />
<br />
<br />
These bad boys come in 3 different grits: fine, medium, and coarse. I must say I love them because even though they are paper/foam based nail files, the grit on these nail files is of very good quality. I noticed that the composition of the grit is very rich and uniform which helps prevent jagged edges when filing, even when using coarsest file. When it comes to filing down nails quickly the <u>coarse</u> file is the one to use; it happens to be my favorite of the 3. I have tried all types of files for this before from metal, to crystal, etc...but the crystal files aren't coarse enough and the metal files can leave you with horrendously jagged edges--in fact the best file that I have evarrr used for filing down length is the Sally Hansen Coarse file. It's amazing how much length it files down in just one sweep!<br />
<br />
<div>
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-r8PZ_x8tlv4/UDBDTOpDLaI/AAAAAAAAC3Q/3MJd88QtlJ0/s1600/P1030091.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-r8PZ_x8tlv4/UDBDTOpDLaI/AAAAAAAAC3Q/3MJd88QtlJ0/s640/P1030091.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">$3 each. Fingernail and Toenail Clippers with compartments that catch clippings until your ready to dispose of them.
</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
<b><u>Clippers</u></b><br />
<br />
<br />
They are super heavy duty, which is great, but they can feel a bit bulky. Especially with the plastic compartments at the bottom of them which is supposed to catch your clippings. I wish I had the option of removing the plastic compartment if I wanted to...it won't come off unless you break it right off, but then you wouldn't be able to put it back on again, if you ever wanted too. While they still clip very nicely, they just feel a bit feel too cumbersome to use as my main clippers (-__-) Sigh! These are still very high quality clippers for price, though, so I don't really regret buying them.<br />
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<b><u><br /></u></b>
<b><u>Curved Nail File</u></b><br />
<br />
<br />
This is by far one of the best nail inventions of the 21st century !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><u>I LOVE THIS NAIL FILE.</u></b> Why? I sometimes spend hours filing my nails down to be to a perfectly curved shape, but its so frustratingly hard to make them all the same amount of "curviness". At times I end up with some nails that have more shallow curves and some nails that have more deep curves. Not Cool. But with this nail file, in a mater of seconds, by just sweeping my nail along the curve in one direction, my nails become filed into the perfect shape, every time! UTTER GENIUS!<br />
<br />
<br />
I must mention though that there <b><i>is</i></b> a "learning curve" (pun intended) to using this nail file, you have to learn to compensate for any unevenness in your nails while filing by applying more pressure to the side of your nail that's longer to ensure that perfect C curved shape. Otherwise you'll end up with a crooked curve. It's super hard to explain, but once you get used to using it it's awesome. =)<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7kp_gUKgApM/UDBDT3efLLI/AAAAAAAAC3I/EuDUQfPYreA/s1600/P1030100.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7kp_gUKgApM/UDBDT3efLLI/AAAAAAAAC3I/EuDUQfPYreA/s640/P1030100.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<b><u><br /></u></b>
<b><u>Nail Hardener/TopCoat</u></b><br />
<br />
<br />
So far I'm no too impressed with he Hard As Wraps Acrylic Gel Nail Hardener. I mean, I've used other nail hardeners before that make my nails feel way way harder. So I was highly disappointing by this one.<br />
<br />
<br />
But as for the Insta-Dri Anti-CHip Top Coat? <u>EPIC WIN</u>. I've never used a topcoat quite like this one before, it claims to dry all your layers of polish in 30 seconds. LOL, NO, it just doesn't do that! But, it does do 3 things that I adore!<br />
<br />
<br />
1.) It's indescribably SUPeR SHiNY,<br />
2.) The formula is sooo Smoooth that just coats the nail surface perfectly.<br />
3.) And if your nail smudges while it dries you can smooth it out perfectly like new.<br />
<br />
<br />
I don't know of any other topcoats that smooth out like this one does. And It does dry very quickly. But 30 seconds? Really?! Seriously?!? AHAHAHA. not in 30 seconds! No! Their definition of dry and my definition of dry must be 2 entirely different definitions!!!<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<span style="text-align: center;"><b>**UPDATE** Some people have experienced bubbling with this topcoat, although I haven't experienced this issue personally if you already own this polish I recommend applying your polish in thinner layers and letting the final coat dry some before applying the Insta Dri topcoat.</b></span>
<span style="text-align: center;"><b><br /></b></span>
<span style="text-align: center;"><b>CONCLUSION</b></span><br />
<span style="text-align: center;"><b><br /></b></span>
<span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span>
<span style="text-align: center;">I was in serious need of some nail care products that would help me better maintain my nails, but I found 2 in particular that sped up the nail filing/shaping process for me dramatically They are the Sally Hansen Ahead of the Curve nail file and the Sally Hansen Coarse emery board. Another product that I found to be amazing is the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat. It smooths over the nail very well, is extremely shiny and dries quickly. Hope you found my reviews helpful!</span><br />

<br />
Today I want to introduce you the new additions to my nail polish shelf:<br />
<br />
<br />
They are Pro FX brand polishes in Salon sized bottles.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qCXbSTpsSro/UDBDRTU8nVI/AAAAAAAAC2g/Xw9oyjkOyuQ/s1600/P1030052.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qCXbSTpsSro/UDBDRTU8nVI/AAAAAAAAC2g/Xw9oyjkOyuQ/s640/P1030052.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<br />
Ok, so these bottles are huge! They carry 2.5 fl oz, about 5x as much polish than your average size bottle of polish, and for good reason. Most of these are nail treatments, base coats, topcoats, etc--basically those polishes that one would use a lot more often than all your other colors. <br />
<br />
The price is reasonable for each polish (about $5) a bottle, especially since your getting 5x more than you would get with a .5 fl oz bottle of some other brand topcoat/basecoat/etc...<br />
<br />
When I first seen these polishes at my local Walmart I was like "OOooo," but then when I saw that they were 5 dollars and I felt that it was too much of a splurge for just one bottle and every time I would just overlook it. <br />
<br />
Until one day when my cuticles looked dry and in need of some moisturizing and I remembered that Pro FX has this cuticle oil in this gigantic bottle and if I bought that I'd never be in need of cuticle oil ever again so I asked my darling husband to buy it for me. <br />
<br />
But sadly they were out of stock when he went there because overtime it grew in popularity and all the cuticle oils were being bought up. So I forgot all about it until one day out of the blue, my dearest Charles got me one and completely surprised me with it and said that from then on every time he went to Walmart he would get me one, and he kept his promise!<br />
<br />
So now I have all the Pro FX bottles! YAY!<br />
<br />

Right now I mush keep my posts short, because I'm studying for my final exams, but I will review these polishes in later posts.<br />

<br />
I picked up a bottle of Sally Hansen's nail growth Miracle Serum today at CVS.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
There is a new CVS right up the street and my husband and I love going there because it's the closest store to us. A lot of times it spits out coupons for $5 off on certain items. I especially love when I buy makeup and it knows what I bought and gives coupons for future makeup related purchases...And every once in a while they have really good deals on soft drinks. (It's where I get my Vitamin Water also) ^_^</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Now, this isn't my first time using this product, I actually ran out of my last bottle so this is a replacement. This stuff WORKS great! It does just what it says it will do--grows your nails...FAST. Faster than nail growth polish/hardener. But sadly it doesn't grow your nails at the speed of light so you do have to be a little patient with it. ^_^<br />
<br />
I use this primarily to grow back a broken or chipped nail so it can be the same length as the other nails, without having to cut or file down my other nails.</div>
<div>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><b>AFTER: </b>Day 17</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br />
<span style="text-align: justify;">Lots of Growth. I didn't use it for the full 2 weeks though >_< so this is really <span style="color: red;">results for about a week and a half</span> >_<. I'd been really busy lately with other things, and I kept forgetting that I had to do this for my blog. I have gotten a lot of growth in just over a week using it though, my nails grew nearly twice as fast than if I hadn't used the serum. And some reason I have gotten a ton more growth on my middle finger. In the before pic you can see that it's only a little longer than my </span><span style="text-align: justify;">ring</span><span style="text-align: justify;"> finger but in the after pic its a lot longer than it. I don't know why that is!</span><span style="text-align: center;"> </span><br />
<span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span>
<span style="text-align: center;">Now it might not work for everyone, but it definitely works for me. I notice a difference after 2 days of using it. In fact, I haven't even been using this product every day, just maybe 3 days in a row, and it just makes my nails grow like crazy. I used to have this problem to where my thumb nails would grow super slow in comparison to my other fingernails but after using this product just a few times here and there my thumbnails grew long like a scary mutant's nails. This stuff is truly amazing!</span>
<br />
<br />
I even used it once my pinky-toenails, and I mean, my pinky-toenails never grow...And guess what?! They grew longer than all the others, to the point that I had to cut them down! I decided that I will take before and after pictures of my bare nails to show you teh proof of just how quickly they can grow in just 14 days!!!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
It also claims that it instantly softens cuticles miraculously making them smoother and softer. It does hydrate them, but I haven't paid much attention to notice a long term improvement in my cuticles, primarily because I don't really have a cuticle problem. My cuticles tend to stay moist and well lubricated, probably because I have naturally oily skin or something like that. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<u><b>PROS:</b></u> -No odor, Works (not a gimmick)<br />
-Readily Available (can be found at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens...)</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<u><b>CONS:</b></u> -Ingredients list looks questionable, what in the world is CYMBOPOGON SHOENTHUS? </div>
<div>
(I hope all of these ingredients are safe to use on the nails and skin.) </div>
<div>
-A little on the pricey side (about $10)</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<u><b>BOTTOM LINE:</b></u> If you wan't to grow your nails FAST get this product!</div>
<div>
<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
As of now, I have a lot of nail related products to review, and as I find time I will post on them ^_^</div>

I have FINALLY FINALLY bought a few China Glaze polishes <span style="font-size: x-large;">YAY!</span><br />
<br />
<br />
Can you believe it?! I own 300+ bottles of nail polish and none of them are China Glaze ( ..U_U.. )<br />
<br />
<br />
Back when I did my <a href="http://neverendingnailart.blogspot.com/2012/03/nail-polish-collection-update.html" target="_blank">Nail Polish Update</a> post, I realized that it was time I branched out and started collecting more brands that I don't yet own.<br />
<br />
<br />
I thought China Glaze would be a great place to start, so I decided to get some of their nail treatments first <br />
because:<br />
<br />
<br />
1.) I really love seeing nail treatments on my shelf. There are usually transparent and come in <br />
a variety of soft and lovely colors<br />
<br />
2.) I could really use some nail treatments!!!<br />
<br />
<br />
Here they are:<br />

<b><u><br /></u></b>
<b><u>design #14</u></b><br />
<b><u><br /></u></b>
<b><u><br /></u></b>
I recently bought a crystal nail file from Dollar Tree<br />
<br />
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qMPKM-KpnHM/UDBDLDFJa3I/AAAAAAAAC0o/wP6gEuX0iZI/s1600/P1020800.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qMPKM-KpnHM/UDBDLDFJa3I/AAAAAAAAC0o/wP6gEuX0iZI/s640/P1020800.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Part of the packaging that comes with the file.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Actually I bought 3 different ones because the first file found its way to the floor (somehow) and my dear sweet husband stepped on it and it broke to bits. The second one I bought I made the mistake and left on the couch and my dear sweet husband sat on it...and well...it broke to bits >_<<br />
<br />
And somewhere between the frustration of filing my nails with half broken pieces of nail file the grit wore right off the dollar file so I couldn't file my nails anymore! That's when I decided to find a higher quality crystal nail file on the interwebz. I bought one on eBay which claims that it's acid etched so that the grit will never rub off and that they will last forever (forever as long as no one sits, steps, or drops it!)<br />
<br />
I've tried the file I got on eBay and I really like it. And I've tried really hard to wear the grit down on it but it doesn't seem like it will be coming off anytime soon ^_^<br />
<br />
But the cheapo crystal file I got is what actually inspired me for today's design. The design on the packaging that the file came in is very pretty and I wanted to recreate in on my nails:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Sorry for the large time gaps in between posts!<br />
<br />
The school semester is coming to a close, so I have been VERY busy lately. Also my nails are still growing back so I feel reduced to just doing just swatches. Believe it or not these are the first swatches I've ever done.<br />
<br />
My blog is mainly oriented towards nail designs but since my nails have been all different sizes I've been trying to do other nail related things to compensate for it. I mean literally eVeRy otHeR nAiL is a diFeReNt SiZe!!!So lately I haven't felt like putting designs on them.<br />
<br />
Ironically the one nail that never seems to stay long, the one that breaks off all the time on my left hand/index finger, is the longest out of all 10 of my fingernails.<br />
<br />
like rEaLlY?? SeRiOuSlY??!<br />
<br />
Anyways on to the Polish!<br />
<br />
Sally Hansen has released a few new (limited edition?) colors for their Extreme Wear brand line.<br />
<br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Sally Hansen has been very hush-hush in terms of their Extreme Wear product line, so don't expect to hear anything news about their new spring collection anytime soon!<br />
<br />
Currently I have all the colors from this collection except for Voltage Violet because at the time I thought it was a re-promoted color that I already had. I finally realized my mistake and snagged Coral Reef although I could have sworn that it was a color I already owned. Sure enough when I went home to compare Coral Reef it to my other colors I realized that both Coral Reef and Voltage Violet are new colors of Sally Hansen's spring collection similar in name to two bottles that I already own called Virtual Violet and Caribbean Coral.<br />
<br />
Coral Reef...Caribbean Coral...Virtual Violet...Violet Voltage...can you see my confusion?!<br />
<br />
I mean pffffft, what's with the similar naming?! What kind of jedi mind-trick are they trying to perform on my delicate and feeble mind!!! <br />
<br />
Right now I have swatches of only Pink Satin, Coral Reef, and Golden-I to show you, but I will update this very soon to show Voltage Violet.<br />

<b>Violet Voltage</b></div>

<b><br /></b></div>

2 coats. Violet Voltage is a deep lilac creme with lovely pink shimmer. When I first started painting my nails with this color I was like "WOAH," because the pink shimmer was so much more intense than it looks in the bottle. But as the polish started to dry it in turn became darker and darker, and lost a lot of its intense pink shimmer. It's still a very lovely color though! I did notice that I have a color just like it; it's from Sinful Colors Professional brand and its name is Jazmine Jazz. The formula of this polish ran a little too thick for my taste, so I just spared myself the frustration and added nail lacquer thinner to thin it out for a smoother application.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<b><br /></b>
<b>Coral Reef</b><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: x-small;">3 coats. This color more red-orange in real life than it appears in the photo. In other words its more of a salmon pink color. I've actually been wearing this mani for 2 days (no topcoat!) before I got around to posting a pic of what it looks like, no chipping or peeling, but there was some wear on the tips of my nail so I capped the tips with some more polish then took the photo. It ran thick in the bottle so I had to thin it out with nail polish thinner >_< I don't mind doing that with some polishes but it's a pet peeve of mine when I first buy the polish and I have to do it off the bat. 2 coats didn't seem enough, it was still a little streaky, but 3 coats was perfect. Personally I didn't like the color all that much when I was applying it but it grew on me, and now I kinda like it. It looks like I have candy on my nails. Now I can't seem to take it off!</span><br />
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>

<b><br /></b>
<b><br /></b>
<b><br /></b>
<b><br /></b>
<b><br /></b>
<b><br /></b>
<b><br /></b>
<b><br /></b>
<br />
<b>Pink Satin</b><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: x-small;">Believe it or not but this is just one coat of Pink Satin. One coat = full coverage with no visible nail line. Wow! It applied a tad streaky and the formula ran thick, but when I first tried it out back in February the formula was not at all thick and the consistency was just what you'd expect a fresh bottle of polish...(or maybe I'm just psycho and its always been like this!)</span><br />
<span style="font-size: x-small;">I guess I will be adding some lacquer thinner to it soon...</span><span style="font-size: x-small;">The color very muted antique-like pink chrome. Gosh, I can't quite describe it. It's very pretty and elegant and I have no color like it. It's a very calming color with a je ne sais quoi that can't be put into words. Breath taking! </span><br />
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: x-small;">But alas it appears that such beauty has gone unnoticed on my nails,</span><span style="font-size: x-small;"> although this is a really pretty color, it looks a little boring on my nails. </span><span style="font-size: x-small;">it doesn't match my dark skin tone very well, and would probably look better those of fairer complexion. I even went as far as to try this color on one of my husbands nails when he was asleep (SSSHH that's our secret! he's a heavy sleeper and does not know I do this) and yeah the color does pop on his nails more-so than on mine. It looks more pearl pink on his nails cuz he's white where as on my nails it looks more silver.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: x-small;">note: After adding lacquer thinner the formula improved dramatically, looked less silver on my nails and more pink--YAY!</span><br />

<b></b><br />

<b><br /></b>
<b>Golden-I</b><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: x-small;">2 coats. My FAVOURITE. I really mean it. This is another color where I do not have one quite like it, It's like Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear brand in Celeb city but in Gold...not a bright gold, but almost like a mix between gold and silver with a slight bias toward gold. It's to die for. It's a gold-chrome sparkle-shimmer polish that's like wearing crinkle-less foil paper on your nails. And in the sun, your nails will BLIND you............what more can I say! It's more subtle indoors though, but still very pretty. Like Pink Satin it has this antique feel to it</span>.<br />
<br />
Sorry for the insanely thorough post! I take my Sally Hansen's very seriously! Overall, I think that Sally Hansen is really stepping up their game when it comes to making new colors for their Xtreme Wear line. These definitely have all the signs of a limited edition release so get em while you still can!<br />

<br />
<b>1.) What made you start a blog?</b><br />
It was a New Year's Resolution of mine to start painting my nails/doing designs with them.<br />

Lately, Rammenstien-Du Hast its so addictive :p<br />
<b>4.) If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?</b><br />

<div>
Wow! it took me a while to count but I'm glad I did--now I know the exact number of nail polishes I have :)</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><u>Allow me to explain why I have the bottles I have:</u></b></div>
<div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /></div>
<div>
Most bottles of polish that I buy are drug store brands because right now I prefer quantity over quality. They are super cheap and every so often I can buy a bottle here or there and build my collection so that I have a very wide color range. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I have no Zoya, China Glaze, Essie, Orly or O P I polishes (Not counting the Nicole Polishes by O P I)</div>
<div>
:(((((((( I am hoping to purchase a few of these polishes soon but I can't accumulate them at the rate that I could with the drugstore brands because they are so much more expensive!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I am also desperate to try Nu-F-Oh!, Spa Ritual, Finger Paints, Nails Inc, Julep, Illamasqua, >_<</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I can't afford these polishes in mass!!! But I guess over the next 50 years or so I should accumulate a good number of different brands :-)</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
My favorite brand of Polish as of late is probably Kleancolor because they have so many gorgeous colors for a low low price its insane! I don't know if it is because its made in USA and I live in the USA so it's cheaper, or what, but it is a great brand of polish for the money. I don't really have any problems with the formula goes on great in 2 coats sometimes 3. I know I don't have very many of these polishes but I definitely will be getting tons more in the future.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
You would think that Sinful Colors is my favorite because I have more of it but I have a very small complaint about it that I will cover more in depth in another upcoming post.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Brand is just one of my FAVORITE polishes out there. The Xtreme Wear collection doesn't have that many colors (about 40 distinct colors or so) but I own them all with the exception of some discontinued shades as well as some seasonal limited edition releases[VIP Pink, Lime Lights, Shooting Star, Ocean View etc...] Luckily I was able to find the discontinued shade Emerald City at Dollar Tree recently and I was so happy!<br />
<br />
As far as their colors go they are very vibrant and their cremes are very rich. I think for Valentine's day they came out with 2 new colors Pink Satin and Golden-I and they are SO SO pretty! I went back to buy more of it but it was all sold out at Target in a matter of days. Nobody has really done a post on it so maybe I might do a feature = )</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I really like the Nicole Polishes as well, their new patented brush system makes manicures really easy, but I have some older nicole polishes that just have the standard brush which is no big deal. Also I think that the bottles are designed so that when you tilt them you get every last bit of nail polish out from the bottle of the bottle but I'm not too certain on that though. LOVE THEM, MUST GET MORE!!!!<br />
<br />
NYX Girls in the square bottles are my favorite also. Why? They have a very large collection (Over 200 colors) with really really nice colors that are really cheap ($2 a bottle) and they have just the most awesome glitters. There glitters are just hawt! I want to collect more but haven't gotten around to it, right now I just have a few colors that I like from them.<br />
<br />
Pure ICE brand has some really nice colors as well but some to me are way prettier than others so I just collect my favorite ones. And the names of their colors can get so sexual sometimes which I find to be a little weird. Names like <i>All night Long</i> and <i>Unzip me</i>, <i>Pussycat</i>, <i>Wet T Shirt</i>, <i>In the Mood</i>, <i>Cheating</i>, <i>Kiss me Here</i>, <i>No Means No</i>, and my of course don't forget <i>Nasty Girl</i>.<br />
<br />
And O M G I just learned that one of the colors of theirs that I own glows in the dark (<i>Rescue Me</i>) from a website that I got the racy names from<br />
<br />
OMG I didn't know that it <i>glew</i> in the dark (You learn something new every day!)</div>
<div>
<br />
<br />
Well I'm going to stop ranting for now, but I'll keep you all updated on my stash as it expands.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Until Then,</div>

P.S. Sorry for the long post I didn't realize how much I could say about Nail Polish! I'll most likely break up this post into shorter posts because it is an eye sore to read!<br />

<br />
I've been trying to grow them out but there terrible right now at all different lengths. I know I've said that I would post more designs, and I will, but I've been awfully busy with school and it feels like I just have no time to sit down and do my nails.<br />
<br />
But I have decided that blogging about my nails is very important to me, especially since its one of the only ways that I can express myself artistically with my hectic/mundane life. And since I've had more spare time to myself lately, I might as well re-purpose that time in doing something that I absolutely love to do.<br />
<br />
I find that this hobby helps me to keep my sanity in this sad depressing world. I hear something more and more absurd everyday. I don't know if the fumes have anything to do with it, but painting my nails is the one time that I can relax and zone out to all the stressors of my life.<br />
<br />
And I love all the beautiful colors that I collect. I have this secret goal of collecting every color of the world through nail polish. I know that this is an impossible feat, but it makes me feel like I have something to important to work towards, something bigger than myself.......<br />
<br />
I will be dong a lot of backwards posting on nail designs that were meant to be done on certain days<br />
(ex.) Chinese New Year and Valentines Day designs)<br />
<br />
But I will also be uploading recent nail designs as well.<br />
<br />

<b><u><br /></u></b>
<b><u>design #13</u></b><br />
<br />
<br />
Today is the start of the Chinese New Year!<br />
<br />
We are now in the year of the Dragon!!! I happen to be born in the Year of the dragon which is AWESOME.<br />
<br />
According to the web people born in the year of the dragon are innovative, enterprising, self-assured, brave, passionate, conceited, and quick tempered. Dragons are free spirits and restriction blows out their creative sparks that are ready to flame into life. Therefore dragons must be free and uninhibited. The dragon is a beautiful creature that is colorful and flamboyant. Extroverted gifted, and irrepressible, everything dragons do is on a grand scale--big ideas and extreme ambitions, however this behavior comes natural to the dragon and is not meant to show off. Because dragons are confident and fearless in the face of challenge, they are almost inevitably successful. <a href="http://www.stanssewingsupplies.com/catalogs/store.asp?pid=254835" target="_blank">(source)</a><br />
<br />
A lot of this rings true for me, although I was born in the year of the dragon I am also introverted because my sign is Cancer and they are generally shy. I am a free spirit and restrictions do blow out my creative spark. I am very colorful but I wouldn't say that I am flamboyant (a little reserved). But I do like to express myself and I do have big ideas and ambitions. This thing says that I will be successful in life :-O I sure hope its right!<br />
<br />
So Anyway, on to the Nails!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Vgp1MDoXat8/UDBDHzoQNiI/AAAAAAAACzk/gCtuMWpGMTE/s1600/P1020619.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Vgp1MDoXat8/UDBDHzoQNiI/AAAAAAAACzk/gCtuMWpGMTE/s640/P1020619.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I thought that this design was going to be so complicated but it actually turned out to be rather simple</div>
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Uegihcs0pJU/UDBDINAICEI/AAAAAAAACzo/GSNzIOJADLA/s1600/P1020620.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Uegihcs0pJU/UDBDINAICEI/AAAAAAAACzo/GSNzIOJADLA/s640/P1020620.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">I used <b>Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear</b> brand in <i><u>White on</u></i> and <i><u>Invisible</u></i> (top coat). I also layered <b>LA Colors Nail Lacquer </b>brand in <i><u>French Creme</u></i> to get that lovely beige color; I kinda wanted it to look like ancient Chinese paper. Lasty I used <b>Sinful Colors Professional</b> brand in Real Red for the dragon design</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I really liked how when I put my fingers together it complete design of the dragon ^_^</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
That's all for now!</div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><u><br /></u></b></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><u>design #12</u></b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Today's design is inspired by Dutch painter Piet Mondrian</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Mondrian painted during the Post WWI-II era and was inspired heavily by Picasso and Georges Braque's cubist style. I don't want to get all Wikipedia on you but he was part of the De Stijl ("The Style") movement "which sought to express a new utopian ideal of spiritual harmony and order. Which advocated for pure abstaction and universality with a reduction to the essentials of form and color; simplifying visual compositions to vertical an d horizontal directions, using only primary colors along with black and white." </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">So Here are it is:</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JulUX3JCgRA/UDBDe5LHUjI/AAAAAAAAC44/8uVBb-7aeMY/s1600/mondrian+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="408" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JulUX3JCgRA/UDBDe5LHUjI/AAAAAAAAC44/8uVBb-7aeMY/s640/mondrian+1.jpg" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">I used <b>Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear</b> brand in <i><u>White Out</u></i>, <b>Sinful Colors Professional</b> brand in <i><u>Folly</u></i> and<i> </i><i> <u>Pink Forever </u></i>and lastly I used a <b>Migi Nail Art Pen</b> in <u><i>Black</i></u> for the lines.
</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">I decided to go with a pink version of this design because I thought it would look appealing. I will definitely be doing several color variations of this awesome design in the future</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
Happy Painting,<br />
