design #12

Today's design is inspired by Dutch painter Piet Mondrian

Mondrian painted during the Post WWI-II era and was inspired  heavily by Picasso and Georges Braque's cubist style.  I don't want to get all Wikipedia on you but he was part of the De Stijl ("The Style") movement "which sought to express a new utopian ideal of spiritual harmony and order. Which advocated for pure abstaction and universality with a reduction to the essentials of form and color; simplifying visual compositions to vertical an d horizontal directions, using only primary colors along with black and white."

So Here are it is:

I used Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear brand in White OutSinful Colors Professional brand in  Folly and  Pink Forever and lastly I used a Migi Nail Art Pen in Black for the lines.

I decided to go with a pink version of this design because I thought it would look appealing.  I will definitely be  doing several color variations of this awesome design in the future

Happy Painting,
